Sunday Worship
Sunday, 4pm @ First Baptist Church
81 St. Paul
Street, Burlington, Vermont
Like a lot of churches, our worship service lasts about an hour (or a
little more). But our services aren't always what you would expect. Some
weeks, we will have a sermon and some music. But sometimes we won't have a
sermon, and we'll choose, instead, to hear from members of the community
about how these teachings have been applied to their lives. Some weeks,
the service might simply be a prayer-- a time to reflect and center our
lives on God.
LISTEN. Visit our audioblog to listen to audio from our services at St Andrew's. You can be automatically notified when the weekly audio is posted by sending an email to saintandrewsaudio@gmail.com.
NO SURPRISES. Our services won't be the same every
week, but here's something you can count on: we will always tell you what
is going to happen before it happens. And we won't ask you to participate
beyond your level of comfort.
JEANS AND COFFEE. The service starts at 4pm and its
casual. Don't worry about dressing up. When you enter, someone will greet
you at the door and point you to the nearest cup of coffee (we serve tea,
too!).
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM. Children are welcome in the
service, but we also offer a program for children run by a great group of
volunteers. We have also implemented a number of policies to make sure
this space is safe for your children.
GREEN. We don't print bulletins or programs because we
don't want to waste the paper. So every week, when the service begins,
someone from our church will stand up and talk briefly about the question
of the week and will give you a run-down on what will happen during the
next hour and fifteen minutes.
