Discussion Groups
There's only so much you're ready to share with somebody you just met. We offer discussion groups, so that people will have the opportunity to build better and deeper friendships: sharing the ups and downs of life and talking about our common experience of faith. These groups are built around the idea that a discussion about truth is just as relevant to the agnostic in us as it is to the part of us that believes.
Thursday Night:
Our Thursday night discussion group is always open to visitors. It meets at 7pm. The discussion question for Thursday night is posted at our online discussion forum, The Travelogue under the heading, "Discussion Group Question." For more information about this group and to find out where it is meeting, contact Kevin Fitton at kevin@standrewsvt.org;
Our other Thursday night discussion group meets at the home of Christina Moorman at 45 and 1/2 Ward Street in Burlington. This group is currently studying the Fruits of the Spirit and is for women only. Please contact Christina at titania1231@yahoo.com for more information.
Environmental Group:
This group is for anyone who is interested in learning and growing in an understanding of how the Christian faith connects with our relationship to the environment. This group meets at the home of Brian and Janet Barclay on Sundays at 12pm. For more information, please contact Brian at Brian@StAndrewsVt.org
Social Justice Group:
There is also some interest in starting a group that will meet around social justice issues. If you are interested in being a part of a group like this, please contact Jay Roszman at jay.roszman@gmail.com.
